BIRD MITE PEST CONTROL NAPLES BONITA SPRINGS FORT MYERS FLORIDA

BIRD MITES

Only relatively few species are on humans or other animals, such as rodents and birds, especially found around nest sites, while others are damaging pest of plants or decaying animal or plant matter.

Mites are not an insect, they have no antennae, they do have 8 legs, and their head and thorax are fused into a single region called the cephalothorax.  Most mites are so small they are barely visible to the naked eye.

In the case of Bird Mites, they are usually found where a nest has been abandoned, so the mites are leaving the nest in search of another host.  The first thing that needs to be done in controlling bird mites is to remove any and all nests from the area.

Collier Pest Control, Southwest Florida’s Pest Authority, can eliminate and control any unwanted mite problem.  If you live in Naples, Fort Myers, or anywhere in Southwest Florida, call, 239-455-4300, for a complete explanation on any of our services.  Remember Florida does not have to be shared with pests.
