Trina Hadley wrote the following story about how Eric Sutor her son’s father’s efforts saved Blake Sutor, her son’s life after finding him at the bottom of their family swimming pool.
On April 27, 2010 Eric's knowledge of CPR saved our son from leaving us at the age of two. I found Blake, our son, in our above ground swimming pool and Eric started CPR right away! Blake spent 42 days in ICU 16 on a breathing machine. Since then he has made great progress walking with assistance, no longer on a feeding tube. I give credit to Eric that day for us not losing our little boy that day! Eric has also been a strong supporter of this long process through therapies to get our little boy to his full potential. I feel he of all people deserve this award! He is by far my hero for saving our son!!!
Go to your facebook page and look up The National Drowning Prevention Alliance and like the page. Go to the area where it show you to vote for the Life Saver of the Year, look down the list till you find Eric Sutor and Blake’s picture, click the voting box for him! Then add information in the Share Box so others will learn about drowning prevention and vote for Eric. You can vote every 24 hours till the end of December. Thank you for your help !!
